Project Info.

To be the go-to-place for contemporary / edgy fusion experiences in Belfast and UK. And maintain Yugo’s status as one of the Top 100 Restauraunts in the UK and No.1 in Northern Ireland.

Key Brand Purpose.

To be the stand out restaurant outside the city. High end casual restaurant with an integrated coffee hatch, casual outside area; european vibes, buzz with feel good food, music, big atmosphere. 5 course and a la carte options. Premium wine..

Narratives.

Yugo East joined the already vibrant Ballyhackamore Village of East Belfast in 2020 amidst a whirlwind of well-deserved hype. In no small part thanks to the combination of its alfresco outdoor space and the airy industrial aesthetic of the restaurant itself, the Asian-influenced eatery quickly found favour with the locals of the area.

Identity.

A new post-Covid visual brand and signature: the Yugo Koro (from Jap. Akkorokamui).
With the intention of elevating experience, Yugo East worked with us to develop a new brand identity that would match the quality of its food and wine, and establish a stronger connection with the roots of the brand.
The Yugo Koro symbolizes the notion of fusion of flavours, the creativity within the hand crafted and curated dishes and the purity of the ingredients.
